Our Commitment to Sustainable Shea

Shea is more than a commodity — it is a lifeline for millions of Nigerian women and rural communities. At the same time, the global demand for shea requires responsible sourcing and sustainable processing.

We integrate sustainability at every stage of our supply chain:

Environmental Stewardship

  • Shea trees are wild and naturally occurring in Nigeria’s savannah belt.
  • We adopt zero-deforestation sourcing practices and promote parkland protection to safeguard biodiversity.
  • Our future refining facility will incorporate energy-efficient technologies to reduce carbon footprint.

Traceability & Quality

  • Direct farmgate sourcing ensures we know exactly where our nuts come from.
  • Each batch is monitored for quality parameters (FFA, moisture, impurities) before export or processing.
Global Alignment

We align with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):

    • SDG 5 – Gender Equality
    • SDG 8 – Decent Work & Economic Growth
    • SDG 12 – Responsible Consumption & Production
    • SDG 15 – Life on Land
